Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 September 2026. These terms apply to all planning services provided by Soapy Shark Ltd. By instructing us, you accept them.

1. Who we are

Soapy Shark Ltd (Company No. 14985733), registered in England & Wales, provides travel research, itinerary design and booking-coordination services. We are a planning studio, not a package tour operator.

2. Our services

We provide the deliverables described in your chosen package (Trip Taster, Complete Trip Plan or Concierge Planning) or in a written custom quote. Deliverables are plans, research and coordination — not travel itself.

3. Fees and payment

Fees are as published on our website or stated in your quote and are payable in GBP before work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing. Published fees include VAT where applicable.

4. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel within 14 days of payment for a full refund, provided work has not started. Once research or planning has begun, fees are refundable only at our discretion, pro rata for work not yet performed. Third-party bookings (hotels, transfers, activities) are subject to the suppliers’ own cancellation terms, which we will share before you commit.

5. Third-party suppliers

We exercise reasonable care when selecting suppliers but do not act as their agent and cannot accept liability for their acts, omissions, insolvency or cancellation. Where financial protection (such as ATOL) is required for a package, we will arrange it through an appropriately licensed partner.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for valid passports, visas, vaccinations and insurance, and for the accuracy of the information you give us. We provide requirement checklists but do not submit applications on your behalf.

7. Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you have paid us for the relevant engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed connections or lost holiday time arising from supplier failure.

8. Data protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR solely to deliver your planning services. We never sell your data. You may request a copy or deletion of your data at any time.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
